Dark chocolate and cocoa meet roasted coffee notes and roasted malt, with alcohol that stays well hidden and thick, dark foam on top. The brewery sees the strong stout as a cure for winter torpor, hence the name; the style takes its name from the tsar's court in St. Petersburg, and the recipe uses roasted barley and Northern Brewer hops.
