God Save the Session IPA

◎ Aussehen

A pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright translucence. The head forms quickly with fine, stable bubbles that cling to the glass in delicate lacing as the beer is consumed. Carbonation is lively and persistent throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright citrus notes—lemon zest and grapefruit—supported by herbal and piney hop character typical of noble varieties. A light, clean malt backbone provides subtle sweetness without heaviness, while fermentation remains neutral and unobtrusive.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and refreshing with immediate hop bitterness that sits at a moderate level (40 IBU), avoiding harshness. The mid-palate shows balanced citrus and pine from the Edelhopfen selection, with restrained malt sweetness allowing the hops to dominate. Body remains light and dry, making this beer highly quaffable despite its assertive character.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and relatively short, with lingering herbal and citrus notes that fade gracefully. No astringency or cloying residue remains.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.

Die geschwungene Form konzentriert Hopfenaromen und hält den Schaum. Unverzichtbar für aromatische Ales und IPAs, bei denen die Nase die halbe Erfahrung ist.
