The beer presents with excellent clarity despite its opaque appearance, revealing the rich depth of its roasted character. Carbonation appears moderate, supporting a fine and lasting foam structure.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced roasted grain and dark chocolate notes, followed by a subtle coffee undertone that evolves with warmth. Oats contribute a soft, creamy quality to the aroma without adding grainy harshness. A faint toasted quality rounds out the profile, with minimal hop character allowing the malt to dominate.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters smooth and full-bodied, with roasted Malz flavors leading into a rich chocolate mid-palate that feels silky rather than heavy. Coffee and toasted notes provide depth, while the oats deliver a creamy, almost velvety mouthfeel. Bitterness remains restrained at 30 IBU, offering balance without assertiveness, and a subtle dark fruit character adds complexity.

The finish is smooth and moderately dry, with roasted and coffee notes lingering gently on the palate. No harsh alcohol burn despite the 7.5% ABV, leaving a pleasant warmth and a lingering chocolate aftertaste.
