A pale amber to light copper hue with excellent clarity and a fine white head that displays steady retention and delicate lacing. The carbonation is gentle, producing a refined and composed presentation befitting a malt-forward Scottish export ale.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with warm vanilla and subtle oak from the Caribbean rum cask maturation, followed by dried dark fruits—raisin and prune notes. Beneath these, gentle spice and a whisper of warming alcohol create an inviting and complex bouquet without sharp edges.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens soft and malty with a foundation of caramel sweetness and toasted grain. Mid-palate brings forth the signature rum-cask spice alongside subtle dried-fruit complexity, while restrained bitterness (28 IBU) keeps the profile balanced and clean. The 6.8% ABV provides warming body without harshness.

The finish unfolds gently and lingers with residual sweetness and a trailing note of oak-aged spirit. Aftertaste remains warm and mellow, free of harsh drying sensation.
