Yang displays a brilliant golden amber hue with excellent clarity and a pale, fluffy head that demonstrates strong retention. The beer exhibits bright, vibrant color appropriate for an Imperial IPA, with active carbonation visible throughout the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately dominated by aggressive, resinous pine and citrus hop character with prominent grapefruit and tropical fruit notes. Beneath the hop intensity lies a subtle malt backbone that provides balance without overwhelming the bold aromatic profile.

The palate opens with a full-bodied malt sweetness that quickly gives way to intense bittering hops and lingering resinous character. Mid-palate delivers layered citrus and pine notes alongside a substantial dry sensation, while alcohol warmth becomes increasingly apparent as it develops.

Yang finishes long and persistently dry, with a pronounced lingering bitterness and resinous hop aftertaste that extends well into the retronasal. The drying sensation dominates throughout, leaving the mouth cleansed and ready for another sip.
