Sunburn presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that builds readily on the pour. Carbonation is lively and visible, supporting a delicate lacing that clings to the glass as you drink. The beer has the clean, bright appearance characteristic of a well-executed West Coast IPA.

The nose is immediately dominated by tropical fruit and citrus notes, with Mosaic, Strata and Citra hops working in concert to deliver a fragrant, juicy character. Ripe stone fruit and hints of grapefruit zest sit alongside subtle pine undertones that add depth without overshadowing the hop-forward profile. Subtle grainy Malz notes provide a gentle foundation without intruding on the aromatics.

Entry is clean and bright, with citrus and tropical fruit flavors taking center stage across the palate. The mid-palate develops a balanced bitterness—measured at 60 IBU—that integrates smoothly with the fruity character rather than dominating it. A light, dry quality emerges toward the swallow, with a whisper of pine and herbal hop character providing structure without harsh edges.
