◎ Aussehen

Medium golden-amber body with a light haze that sits between clarity and opacity—typical of a West Coast IPA that resists the full cloudiness of its hazy cousins. The head forms quickly and persists with fine, tight lacing that clings to the glass. Carbonation reads as moderate and even, creating gentle movement throughout the pour.

◌ Aroma

Assertive hop character leads immediately, with sharp piney resin notes and candied citrus peel cutting through without softness. A lean, mineral-edged backdrop from the Malz allows the Edelhopfen to dominate rather than meld. No significant yeast esters or malt sweetness intrude—this is a dry, focused nose built for hop intensity.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and bitter, with resinous hop bitterness taking center stage at 60 IBU—enough to assert without harshness. The mid-palate remains dry and lean, allowing the citrus and pine to unfold without juicy or floral counterweight. A subtle, clean Malz foundation keeps the beer from becoming one-dimensional, though it never sweetens the proposition.

The bitterness lingers cleanly through a short to medium finish, fading to a dry, slightly astringent aftertaste that leaves the palate ready for the next sip rather than lingering.
