Schankbier

Schankbier pours slightly hazier and seems to have a little more presence in the glass. There's a rounder malt foundation here—nothing sweet, but you notice the grain in a different way than Greifenklau. The bitterness is identical on paper (25 IBU), but the slightly higher ABV gives it a touch more weight, so the hop character lands softer. It's more gregarious, less austere.
