Snake River Brewing
Snake River Brewing was founded in 1994 by Albert and Joni Upsher in Jackson, Wyoming, making it Wyoming's oldest brewpub. Albert, a former Anheuser-Busch distributor in McMinnville, Oregon, was inspired by the expanding microbrewery scene in Oregon and chose Jackson as the location. The Upshers converted an old Coca-Cola distribution warehouse into a brewpub with an open industrial aesthetic, featuring exposed steel beams and a wood-burning oven. The brewery changed hands in 2008 when a local family took over ownership, and as of 2024 it remains the oldest of Wyoming's craft breweries.
