Pivovar Jihlava
Pivovar Jihlava has brewed in the Vysočina city of Jihlava since 1860. It was built when the 123 houses holding brewing rights pooled them into one new plant, officially opened on 4 April 1861. After years of cheap export beer, the brewery returned to its original recipes in 2008, and its Ježek lagers have been known for full flavour and pronounced bitterness ever since. The brew house has a copper mash kettle heated by direct flame, and one Ježek is left unfiltered.
