Pez Tortilla was founded in 2015 by three childhood friends — Sergio Argote, Daniel Pestaña, and Adriano Molina — on Calle del Pez in the Malasaña neighbourhood of Madrid, combining Spanish tapas with craft beer. The brand has grown to operate five venues in Madrid and one in Valencia. Beers sold under the Pez Tortilla label are contract-brewed by the Barcelona-based brewery Little Rain rather than produced in an independent brewing facility.
