Ab van der Veen started home-brewing in 1988 with a pan on the stove, and Michel Lagrand joined him in 2001. The brewery has its own plant in Amstelveen since 2013 and, since November 2018, a taproom and brewery in the former Annakerk on Amsterdamseweg.
