Lord Chambray
Lord Chambray was born in 2014 in Xewkija on Gozo and calls itself the first craft brewery of Malta. The D'Imperio family, who owns it, invested in the island after falling for its slow rhythms and views; the beer is brewed on Gozo, not in Italy. More than twenty styles, from lagers to stouts, come in bottles, on keg and, since 2023, in Malta's first canned craft beer; the year-round beers draw their names from landmarks across the Maltese islands. The brewery holds ISO 9001, makes its own nitrogen and runs a taproom in the Gozitano Agricultural Village with twelve of its own beers on tap.
