Family brewery in Chodová Planá, built above ancient cellars hewn into granite. Legend says a dog named Albi found an abundant spring; the brewery still brews with it, and brewers have long seen Albi as the good spirit of the lager cellars. The oldest written record dates to 1573. The Plevka family, a brewing dynasty for a century and in Chodová Planá since 1962, has led the brewery since 1992. The grounds hold a rock-cellar restaurant, a small museum and a wellness hotel.
