◎ Appearance

Deep mahogany brown with a subtle ruby undertone, achieved through careful roasting of the Malz. The beer presents itself with moderate clarity and a tan, persistent head that clings to the glass in fine lacing. The body appears dense and full, promising the creamy mouthfeel that unfolds on the palate.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with rich chocolate and dark stone fruit — plum and dried cherry — layered beneath toasted grain and subtle caramel sweetness. There is no sharp hop character; instead, a gentle warmth suggests the alcohol's presence without dominating. The overall impression is one of restraint and complexity, inviting closer inspection.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with full-bodied chocolate and roasted malt, developing into waves of dark fruit and caramel that build slowly across the mid-palate. Bitterness is gentle and balanced (22 IBU), serving to frame rather than assert itself; the alcohol reveals itself late, adding warmth without heat. The finish is smooth and creamy, a hallmark of the Doppelbock style.

A long, lingering finish of roasted malt and dark fruit, with subtle nutty and toasted notes fading slowly on the palate. The alcohol warmth persists gently, inviting another sip rather than overwhelming the senses.
