Harris Pale Ale

Tap to rate

Treaty City's first recipe, a tawny pale ale built around Cascade hops. Citrus and floral notes lead the aroma, with grapefruit and a hint of resin on the palate. Pale and caramel malts give it more malt depth than most beers of its kind without pushing the hops into the background, and the finish is dry with a firm herbal bitterness. It dates back to the founders' home-brew days and is the longest-standing beer in the range.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with grapefruit and a whisper of resin from the hops, followed by a malt-forward mid-palate that brings depth from pale and caramel grains. The bitterness is firm and herbal rather than sharp, integrating well with the malt structure. A balanced interplay between sweetness and hopping ensures neither dominates.
