Rufus

Tap to rate

A light, zingy extra pale ale sold on draught only. Whole-cone hops go into the boil and two further varieties into the fermenter. Fresh pink grapefruit, pineapple and peach lead, with hints of sticky pine, tangerine and blueberry behind them. Extra pale malt with oats and wheat gives a body that is full but not overly sweet. Soft and easy to drink, it ends on a crisp finish. At 4.0 % it is the session-strength beer in the brewery's regular range.
