Tropical Torpedo takes the Hop Torpedo, the brewery's own dry-hopping vessel through which beer from the fermenter is circulated over whole-cone hops, and points it at fruit. Amarillo, Citra, Comet, El Dorado and Mosaic sit on a base of two-row pale, Munich, wheat and honey malt. Mango, papaya and passion fruit dominate the aroma, backed by orange and a light resinous edge, while the honey malt gives a soft sweetness under a moderate, rounded bitterness.
