Schlossgold Alkoholfreies Bier

Austria·Alcohol-Free Lager
Tap to rate

Malty, beery and refreshing: Schlossgold does not ferment like a full-strength beer but matures in a cold-contact process just above 0 °C. After about 24 hours up to 700 of the flavour compounds typical of beer have formed, while the alcohol stays at the level of apple juice. Brewed from water, barley malt, hops and hop extract, and exported since 1996, today to 15 countries.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and refreshing, with a gentle malty sweetness that avoids cloying thickness. The mid-palate develops a light, clean graininess with subtle bread undertones and restrained bitterness (22 IBU) that provides structure without dominance. The body remains lean and easy-drinking, characteristic of the lager foundation, while the finish stays dry and thirst-quenching.
