Cumbria Way

Tap to rate

Cumbria Way is a golden ale that Robinsons labels its Lakeland Golden Ale. It was long sold as Hartleys Cumbria Way, after the Ulverston brewery Robinsons took over in 1982, and it shares its name with the long-distance footpath from Ulverston to Carlisle. Spicy hops and citrus mark the aroma. The taste is full-bodied, with rich malt and a firm hop character, joined by a tart fruit note.
