Regent Třeboňské pivo

Tap to rate

A fine, gently bitter hop taste, medium fermented. The brewery calls it the strongest výčepní the law allows, with an extract close to the upper limit, so the taste comes near that of a stronger beer at lower alcohol. Formerly named Jedenáctka, this 11° výčepní is meant by the brewery for connoisseurs who drink beer daily, and it is brewed from barley malt, hops and brewery yeast.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a balanced interplay of malt sweetness and a gently assertive bittering that builds gradually across the mid-palate. Despite the modest 4.6% ABV, the elevated extract gives the beer substance and depth comparable to stronger styles. The hop bitterness remains restrained and refined rather than aggressive, allowing the malt character to provide a smooth foundation.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste is crisp and refreshing, with the hop bitterness lingering cleanly without astringency. The finish dries the palate pleasantly, inviting the next sip rather than lingering heavy.
