Detmolder Zwickel

Tap to rate

A strong aroma of yeast and fruity must is joined by a fine bitterness from extra aroma hops; the beer is full-bodied, velvety soft and still bitter. Naturally cloudy, with a head as firm as beaten egg white. Friedrich Strate loved it served this way, straight from the cask in the maturation cellar. A 4.8 % cellar-style pils at 11 °P.
