The beer presents excellent clarity with a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with delicate lacing. Fine carbonation rises steadily, reflecting the beer's crisp, lively character.

The nose reveals a clean, herbaceous profile with subtle mineral notes and a distinctive grainy wheat character. Gentle herbal and noble hop aromatics emerge alongside a faint lactic tartness that hints at the beer's organic fermentation. The yeast signature is restrained, allowing the wheat and mineral dimensions to breathe without competing esters.

The palate opens crisp and clean, with bright lactic sourness that immediately distinguishes Münster Alt from its Düsseldorf cousins. Mid-palate unfolds with wheat and subtle malt sweetness, balanced by restrained 32 IBU bitterness that builds gently toward the swallow. The combination of tartness, fruit esters, and mineral dryness creates a multi-layered, refreshing profile that invites repetition.
