◎ Appearance

Golden amber hue with bright clarity and fine carbonation creating a persistent, delicate head. The beer displays excellent clarity for its style, with fine lacing that clings to the glass as you drink. The carbonation remains lively throughout, supporting the structured mouthfeel.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with pronounced citrus—grapefruit and orange zest—layered beneath subtle floral notes that soften the perception of hop intensity. Belgian yeast esters add warmth and a light spice character, with hints of dried fruit that suggest the complexity of the fermentation. The aromatic profile sits between crisp American hop character and the fruity signature of Trappist ale traditions.

◐ Taste

The palate opens crisp and hop-forward with sustained citrus and grapefruit bitterness that never becomes harsh. Mid-palate reveals the interplay between noble hop spice and Belgian yeast esters—a gentle warmth and fruitiness that prevents the beer from becoming aggressively dry. The structure remains tight and well-defined, with the 5.2% ABV providing restraint rather than weight.

The finish is dry and lingering, leaving crisp grapefruit and a light peppery spice on the palate. The aftertaste remains clean without oxidative notes, gradually fading into a whisper of herbal bitterness.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
