The nose opens with assertive Cascade and Centennial hop character, displaying prominent citrus notes—grapefruit zest and orange pith dominate—layered with resinous pine and woody undertones. Behind the hop intensity sits a clean, neutral malt base that provides structure without competing for attention. No yeast esters or phenols intrude; the profile remains straightforward and hop-forward.

The palate opens crisp and direct, with citrus and pine flavors mirroring the aroma's assertiveness. A firm, well-defined bitterness builds through the mid-palate, anchored by moderate malt sweetness that prevents harshness.
