Good People IPA

◎ Appearance

Bright golden-amber color with excellent clarity and vivid transparency. A dense, creamy white head forms with good initial retention and leaves distinct lacing on the glass as it recedes. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, creating a fine bead throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with assertive Cascade and Centennial hop character, displaying prominent citrus notes—grapefruit zest and orange pith dominate—layered with resinous pine and woody undertones. Behind the hop intensity sits a clean, neutral malt base that provides structure without competing for attention. No yeast esters or phenols intrude; the profile remains straightforward and hop-forward.

◐ Taste

The palate opens crisp and direct, with citrus and pine flavors mirroring the aroma's assertiveness. A firm, well-defined bitterness builds through the mid-palate, anchored by moderate malt sweetness that prevents harshness. The finish drives bitter and dry, with lingering hop resin and a touch of herbal complexity that sustains through the aftertaste.

◑ Finish

The finish is long and dry, with bitter hop character persisting cleanly without astringency. A subtle mineral dryness and lingering pine resin complete the arc.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
