Collina

Tap to rate

Juicy, intensely aromatic and explosive, with lime, tropical fruit and a touch of dank. Motueka from the south meets a trio of Idaho 7, Citra and Strata from the north in this NEIPA, and Citra Cryo and Idaho CGX sit in the hop bill too. Collina is the last stop of Garage's World Hop Tour and takes its name from the legendary Italian referee.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with juicy, fruit-forward sweetness that fills the mouth with tropical character and restrained malt backbone. Bitterness arrives mid-palate at a moderate 50 IBU, balanced by creamy, slightly pillowy mouthfeel that keeps the beer accessible despite its complexity. The finish transitions from fruity to dank, with gentle herbal spice lingering without drying the mouth.

◑ Finish

The finish is medium in length, fading smoothly from tropical and citrus notes into a subtle earthiness. A light, refreshing aftertaste lingers, clean and inviting another sip rather than lingering heavily on the palate.

About Hazy IPA

Style guide · what to expect · how to find alternatives

What is a Hazy IPA?

IPAs are hop-forward ales with 5.5–7.5% ABV and IBU 40–70+. Bold hop aroma — citrus, tropical, resinous — with firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish.

Finding a similar Hazy IPA

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same juicy, tropical, hazy character as Collina will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
