Freak of Nature

◎ Appearance

Pale golden hue with excellent clarity and fine carbonation evident throughout. A dense, creamy head forms on the pour and maintains good lacing down the glass, characteristic of a well-crafted imperial IPA.

◌ Aroma

Assertive West Coast hop character dominates the nose with prominent pine and citrus notes layered beneath. Dank, resinous undertones emerge with extended exposure, while subtle herbal qualities suggest a carefully balanced hop blend without any vinous or solvent-like ethanol burn.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bold hop bitterness that integrates cleanly into the structure rather than dominating harshly. A full body carries forward the pine and citrus character through the mid-palate, with a pronounced dry quality and subtle funky notes that add complexity without muddiness.

◑ Finish

The finish is crisp and sustained, with lingering bitterness and herbal notes that encourage another sip. A mild warmth from the alcohol is present but well-integrated, leaving the palate refreshed rather than fatigued.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
