Pivín is a lager with a typical malt aroma and flavour, a golden colour and a pleasant bitterness, made from two Žatec hop varieties and Czech malt. The brand was launched nationwide on 9 November 2015, and viewers could spot it in the television series Vinaři. It comes from the castle brewery in Břeclav, where beers ferment in open vessels and lager for weeks.
