A bottom-fermented, semi-dark Doppelbock of 18°, unfiltered and unpasteurised, decoction-brewed with two mashes from six malts and lagered for over 90 days. The brewery calls it a typical example of beer as liquid bread. A flavourful, rich malt body is dominated by a caramel finish with a well-balanced, gentle bitterness; the long lagering gives a very rounded, soft taste, underlined by the high alcohol content.
