Beers similar to Desperados 0.0%

hopIQ found 10 beers with the same sweet and citrusy character as Desperados 0.0%. The alcohol-free member of the range, and a flavoured one: the brand sums it up as beer, citrus and agave, and the ingredient list shows natural flavourings, glucose syrup, sugar and citric acid next to barley malt and hop extract. Lemon leads the taste and sits on a sweet base. The sugar content is clearly higher than in the original, so sweetness is more prominent here and bitterness barely registers; the citric acid adds a tart, fresh edge. Agave is part of the flavouring rather than a note of its own. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
