hopIQ found 10 beers that share Barbe Ruby's fruity and sweet character. Barbe Ruby is a strong Belgian ale flavoured with cherry, brewed from pale and caramel malts with a spice and cherry addition. It pours a deep ruby-red under a firm pink-tinged head. The nose is rich with cherry and dark berry, joined by a light spice and a soft caramel note. The palate is medium-bodied and fruit-forward, with sweet cherry, red berry and a warming alcohol note, before a light hop bitterness and a gently tart finish keep the sweetness in balance.
