The nose opens with pronounced oxidative Port-wine character: dried figs, raisins, and toasted walnut weave through the resinous, caramel backdrop of the Imperial Red base. Nearly two and a half years in tawny Port barrels has imparted a silky, nutty sweetness that sits comfortably alongside the noble hop aromatics. Subtle dark chocolate and oak frame the entire profile without obscuring the fruit-forward richness.

The palate unfolds with luscious dark fruit and toffee, grounded by roasted red malt depth that speaks to the beer's Imperial Red pedigree.
