The nose leads with distinct cherry pie notes, layered with the subtle vanilla and wood spice imparted by French oak. Beneath these fruit-forward characters lies a gentle funk—earthy and fermented, characteristic of the kriek tradition—with a whisper of wine-like complexity that never overwhelms. On entry, the palate is bone-dry despite the prominent cherry character, revealing the beer's careful balance between fruit and restraint.
