A dense, tan head forms initially and maintains moderate retention, gradually settling into a thin collar with modest lacing. The body is full and viscous, moving slowly in the glass.

◌ Aroma

Roasted grain and toasted Malz dominate the nose, underscored by subtle dark fruit notes reminiscent of plum and raisin. A gentle spice character emerges in the background, paired with warm caramel and hints of nuttiness. The alcohol is present but well-integrated, adding a warming quality without harsh alcohol burn.

◐ Geschmack

The palate is full-bodied and malty, with a rich entry of roasted barley and toasted grain that builds through the mid-palate. Dark fruit flavors of plum integrate smoothly with warming caramel and nut character. Bitterness is restrained at 24 IBU, allowing the malt complexity to remain in the foreground; a pronounced spice arrives at the finish, adding complexity and preventing flatness.

The spice character persists distinctly into the aftertaste, creating a long, warming finish that lingers for several seconds. A slight drying quality emerges without harshness, grounded by residual caramel sweetness and the 8.7% alcohol providing gentle heat.
