◎ Aussehen

Pale golden with excellent clarity and a bright, active sparkle. The head forms quickly and maintains a fine, persistent collar with notable lacing on the glass. Carbonation is crisp and abundant, typical of a well-attenuated modern IPA.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with piney and citrus-forward American hop character—grapefruit and Douglas fir needles dominate. Beneath lies a subtle herbal undertone with light resinous notes. The Malz remains restrained, allowing the Edelhopfen to command attention without phenolic obstruction from the brewing tradition surrounding it.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens crisp and clean, with immediate bitterness that integrates rather than overwhelms. Piney and citrus notes follow through the mid-palate in balanced measure, accompanied by a dry herbal snap. The 60 IBUs sit comfortably in an American IPA range, finishing with a lean, mineral dryness that invites the next sip.

◑ Abgang

The aftertaste is clean and relatively brief, lingering primarily as a gentle hop bitterness rather than lingering sweetness. The low ABV ensures no warming alcohol character; instead, a refreshing dryness persists.
