Founders Centennial IPA

Centennial hits you with a resinous pine snap right away, almost like cracking open a fresh bag of Cascade hops. There's a caramel backbone underneath that keeps it from being one-dimensional—it's got enough malt sweetness to balance the bitterness, but the hops really do the talking here. The finish is long and slightly sticky, leaving your palate coated in that classic American IPA pine-and-citrus territory. It's unapologetic about what it is.

Ichthyosaur IPA

Ichthyosaur is brighter, crisper—more floral and herbal where Centennial is resinous. There's a subtle grapefruit note that comes through without aggression, and the body is noticeably leaner, which makes it feel lighter on your tongue even though both beers have the same bitterness mathematically. The finish is quicker, drier, which actually works in its favor if you're eating bar food or just want to keep moving through the night. It's the more elegant IPA of the two.
