Monumental IPA

Monumental carries itself differently. That extra alcohol isn't aggressive, but you feel it—a slight honeyed sweetness underneath the hops that gives the beer backbone. The bitterness is cleaner, less citrusy than I'd expect; more herbal, almost piney in a way that lingers. It's a beer with substance, the kind that feels like it deserves a little more attention and a slower pour.
