At 5.9%, it drinks lighter than it scores, with a dry finish that makes you want another sip immediately. There's a European sensibility here; it feels like someone translated American IPA back through Spanish brewing logic.

Cutaway IPA

Cutaway hits different—fuller in the mouth, with a more rounded malt presence that gives the hops something to push against. The bitterness is the same number on paper, but it lands differently because there's more body underneath it. You get pine and grapefruit, but they're grounded in actual beer substance, not floating on air. It's got that slightly sweet, resinous backbone that Tennessee breweries seem to favor; more satisfying if you're settling in for a while.
