Zagori Lager presents a pale golden hue with a distinctive natural haze characteristic of its unfiltered nature. A bright white head forms initially with moderate retention, and the beer maintains lively carbonation visible as fine bubbles throughout the glass. The cloudiness reflects its live, unpasteurized character and adds visual appeal.

◌ Aroma

The nose offers a clean, inviting bouquet dominated by fresh bread and subtle grainy notes from quality malt. European hop varieties provide a gentle, understated floral presence without aggressive aromatics. Mineral notes from the Epirus limestone spring water add a distinctive terroir character and refreshing quality.

◐ Taste

The palate opens crisp and clean with a light, smooth body that carries malty sweetness on entry. The mid-palate reveals pleasant bread and grain character with restrained European hop bitterness (15 IBU) providing gentle balance. A dry finish emerges with mineral notes that reference the mountain spring water terroir.

The finish is clean and dry with moderate length, leaving a pleasant grainy residue and subtle mineral character on the palate. No harsh bitterness lingers; instead, the aftertaste remains refreshing and inviting for another sip.

Serve well-chilled at 4–6°C. Carbonation and crispness are the main event — cold preserves both.
