◎ Appearance

Pale golden yellow with excellent clarity and bright, lively carbonation. The head forms dense and persistent, clinging to the glass in defined rings as you drink. Light catches the beer cleanly—a visually precise expression of West Coast craft.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bold citrus—grapefruit zest and orange pith—layered over pine resin and herbal green notes. Underneath, tropical fruit esters suggest passionfruit and stone fruit, backed by a clean, crisp malt base. No yeast character intrudes; the beer speaks almost entirely through its hop selection.

◐ Taste

Entry is immediately punchy and hop-forward, with citrus oils and resinous bitterness establishing themselves at once. Mid-palate holds a firm, drying bitterness (60 IBU) balanced by restrained malt sweetness and tropical fruit notes that prevent the beer from becoming austere. The finish drives toward increasing bitterness with lingering pine and citrus pith.

◑ Finish

Bitterness persists cleanly for a moderate length, tapering into pine resin and faint citrus zest. No harshness or astringency—the aftertaste remains articulate and dry, inviting another sip.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
