Saltaire Blonde

Tap to rate

The flagship of the brewery, a blonde ale made with barley and wheat malt and hopped with Bohemian Saaz. It pours a pale straw colour, clean and bright. The nose is earthy and malty rather than fruity. On the palate soft, lightly sweet malt leads, followed by a subtle herbal spice from the hops; bitterness stays modest and the body light, which leaves the finish clean and fairly dry. Available in bottle and on cask, and a permanent fixture on bars across Yorkshire.
