Ottakringer Bio-Zwickl Rot
Naturally cloudy and amber-red: melanoidin malt, a nearly forgotten malt type that needs a laborious malting process, gives this Zwickl its caramel and chocolate character. Malt and yeast notes, a hint of pastry and a creamy mouthfeel follow. 5.2% ABV, 12.4° Plato. Austria's first Zwickl red beer was bottled in 2001; today it is organic and poured on draught.
