◎ Appearance

Deep amber-brown to mahogany, with excellent clarity despite the style's traditional cloudiness from active yeast. A dense, creamy head forms readily and clings persistently to the glass walls, characteristic of a well-attenuated wheat beer. Carbonation is moderate and evenly dispersed.

◌ Aroma

Classic Hefeweizen phenolics dominate: prominent clove and black pepper from fermentation, interlaced with ripe banana esters. Beneath lies a substantial chocolate and caramel malt foundation—toasted, slightly nutty—that grounds the aromatic profile in the beer's darker grain bill. A subtle yeasty, breadlike note adds earthiness.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and malty, with caramel sweetness and chocolate notes building through the mid-palate. The clove and banana character integrates smoothly rather than competing, supported by a gentle, grainy wheat foundation. Bitterness is restrained at 15 IBU, allowing malt complexity to remain foremost; the finish remains clean without harshness.

◑ Finish

Medium-length and soft, fading gracefully through residual caramel sweetness and a final whisper of clove spice. No astringency or alcohol heat; the 5.6% ABV remains entirely integrated and undetectable on the exit.

Serve at 7–9°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
