Armoedzaaier
Just 2.5% ABV, and made to be reached for twice: Armoedzaaier is a light-bodied table beer with floral aromas, fresh citrus on the palate and a hoppy finish with a touch of bitterness. Pilsner and caramel malts, hops and yeast are all it takes. Unfiltered and unpasteurised, from the old grain mill in Veenhuizen, in bottles and, for hospitality only, on keg.
Tasting Notes
AI-generated sensory profile for Armoedzaaier
Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.
The classic — versatile, comfortable to hold and keeps the beer cool. No frills, no distractions: just the beer.
Drink fresh — hop aroma fades fast. Best within 3 months of canning or bottling.
