◎ Appearance

Deep mahogany brown with a rich, warm transparency. A substantial tan head forms at the pour and clings to the glass with moderate retention, leaving distinct lacing on the walls. Fine carbonation rises steadily through the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with chocolate and caramel sweetness from the CaraMünch II and CaraRed malts, underpinned by deeper roasted notes from Carafa Special II. Subtle fruit esters and a whisper of noble hop character from Goldings and Perle round out the profile without overwhelming the malt-forward foundation.

◐ Taste

Smooth entry with pronounced chocolate and caramel at the front, followed by a malty mid-palate that echoes dark fruit and toasted grain. The 25 IBU provides restrained bitterness that balances rather than dominates, allowing the nutty and bready undertones to remain present through to the close.

◑ Finish

Warming and moderately long, with fading chocolate notes and a gentle dry edge. The aftertaste leans toward caramel and toast, reminiscent of the malt blend without harsh residue.
