Dark and full-tasting, this lager shows roasted notes and a malty character, set against a pronounced hop bitterness. It is brewed from drinking water, barley malts and hop products by a brewery that uses Czech malts, Žatec hops and water from its own deep wells. The beer ferments in open vats and rests for 40 to 60 days in horizontal lager tanks.
