Beers similar to Newbarns Lite

hopIQ found 10 beers with the same crisp and refreshing character as Newbarns Lite. A light lager built on Golden Promise, the barley the brewery uses in most of its recipes. The idea grew out of the brewery's series of lagers made with heritage barley: the variety's robust malt character and slight sweetness carry a beer of lower strength. It drinks crisp and refreshing, with a gentle grainy sweetness, a soft bready note and very restrained hops, and it finishes clean and uncomplicated. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
