Beers similar to McMullen Hertford Castle

McMullen Brewery

Strong Bitter·United Kingdom·5% ABV·One of 34 Strong Bitters in hopIQ·

hopIQ found 10 beers that share McMullen Hertford Castle's bitter and floral character. Creamy malt and raisin on the nose, then a floral, bitter palate: a golden 5% bottled strong bitter, bitterness at 4 out of 5, sweetness at 3. Named for Hertford Castle, once a royal palace and the home of Elizabeth I for much of her childhood. Whole-leaf aroma hops, Suffolk malted barley and the brewery's own spring water give it its distinctly floral character.
