hopIQ found 10 beers that share Droppin' Cones's tropical and citrusy character. Droppin' Cones is Laughing Sun's double IPA from Bismarck. Large doses of Mosaic, Citra and Zythos hops bring intense citrus and tropical fruit notes. The grist combines American 2-row barley with Crystal and Dakota malts, and late kettle additions of raw cane sugar deliver a dry finish that balances the higher alcohol level.
