Beers similar to Desperados Original

hopIQ found 10 beers with the same sweet and refreshing character as Desperados Original. A flavoured lager, and declared as one: the ingredient list names a natural flavouring containing agave spirit alongside barley malt, glucose syrup, sugar and citric acid. It pours clear and bright yellow. The body is fuller than the pale colour suggests, the taste pronounced and sweet-leaning, with lemony notes, a touch of spice and the agave flavour on top. Bitterness stays in the background; the overall impression is light and refreshing rather than malty or hoppy. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
